Hello Show Family,
Hope all is well and everyone is moving along well with your 2020 projects. We’ve been busy feeding, shoveling and whatever else here at our house. Right now we’re really looking forward to a prospect show this weekend!
Your Show Board has been working hard this year too! Everything from planning with the county, ordering ribbons and buckles, reviewing show standards and everything else it takes to make it all work. I’m still amazed at all the volunteers and the dedication that they show to make sure each year’s contestants have the best show possible. Be sure and thank them for their hard work and dedication. Shake their hand or give ‘em a hug, I can promise you they are just as stressed out as you are come show time.
Which brings me to the point of this letter, as many of you know, we ran last year’s show on a program called Showorks. It has really helped with organizing the stock show. We’re really hoping to cut down on the number of hours it takes to get each exhibitor’s information entered into the system correctly. There is way over a thousand total entries for the show!
This year we are finally going to utilize online registration. When you go to Bee County Junior Livestock Show you will find a link there that will direct you to the online registration. Follow the steps through the system and you’re all done! Be sure and note your password in case you would like to come back and add an entry at any time. It will prompt you to pay at the end with PayPal or the card of your choice. If you are unable to pay at that time, you may come back later or you can take your receipt to the Ag extension office and pay with cash or a money order. Be sure and take your registration receipt.
You will be redirected to
- Please have your child's SSN/DOB ready. You will need this to complete the registration.
-Do NOT submit your registration if you plan on editing your entries. Once you type "YES" and submit you will not be able to log back in and pay online. You must simply select pay later and sign out.
-If you need assistance with this online process please reach out to the Extension office (Kathy Ball- 361.621-1552).
